What about your Friends? Do they Really have Your Back?

We all know the song by the popular group TLC, "What About Your Friends?" But the words in that song were true and should make each of us look at the people we surround ourselves with a little better. It is self evaluating. This holds true in the city of Baltimore on last weekend when a young girl was shot and killed as she left a local deli not far from her home. She was walking with two friends when a gunman began shooting at them. Allegedly, the gunman had an altercation earlier with one of the young men this girl was with. Now that she is dead, it has been reported that neither of her two friends are cooperating with the police to identify the shooter. If they had an earlier argument, surely they can identify him. But they would rather not "snitch" than speak for their deceased friend. The family of the victim is pleading for someone to come forward, so that they might seek justice on her behalf. So would your friends stick up for you? Would they do what's right? Do you really know what kind of lifestyles they lead and how it could affect you? So many questions to answer. Please make a post. Share an experience and let us know your thoughts on this saddened news story. Our hearts and prayers go out the the family of an innocent bystander killed on her way home from work.

Being friends with someone is not an opportunity, but a sweet responsibility.

When it comes to friends in Baltimore, I must say questionable friends. My son was robbed at gun point 2 weeks ago, after leaving his "friend" they took all his money and his phone. This past saturday afternoon, my daughter received a text message from the phone that I turned off, but some how the message came thru saying "I have your brothers phone, and if he comes downtown again, it will be his life" talking about a friend why or how would a random robber no who his sister was, his "friend had set him up"
